paranormal activity?

Well me and my girlfriend saw paranormal activity on friday, and well it just didn’t live up to its “scariest movie of all time” slogan. Don’t get me wrong it was scary and all but not omg i cant sleep tonight scary! it was slow at the beginning and took awhile to get really scary (again not omg scary.) i still cant believe those foot steps its like it was a giant chicken that was haunting them lol, i did enjoy the movie and i give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. only one thing confuses me, is it real footage or a hollywood production? never the less  it was a good scare for a friday night and deserved to be at least #2 at the box office (opposed to #3)
